Nanderema Sub-Location is plagued by poverty, disease, and despair. With over 10,000 residents, including vulnerable women and children, this region faces the devastating consequences of lacking a proper health facility. Malaria, typhoid, dysentery, and bilharzia claim countless lives, while the absence of cash crops and viable work deepens the plight of its people.
Parents still struggle to save their young ones from kwashiorkor and other preventable illnesses. Families endure treacherous journeys to distant hospitals, often with tragic outcomes. Moreover, the community draws water from unhygienic wells and boreholes, breeding water-borne diseases that wreak havoc on its innocent inhabitants.
